Now here is a discussion that I can sink my teeth into! If Keats had lived longer, we would have a better take on this, but I think both poets are great although in different ways. Keats writes wild and hauntingly beautiful verse compared to Wordsworth's cerebral style. Keats tries to be lofty but his personality comes through simply and directly, whereas Wordsworth tries to pretend he is simple when his ideas are really rather complex. They write at the point in English literature that attracts me most, even though I majored in a different period. I love them both!
