Also, another thing I do, is I have my cell phone alarm set for 9 PM EST. So when it goes off each night, I reflect and pray for them. Everyone should join in and do the same.

On Monday, our town will have its parade. My Girl Scout troop will be in the parade. Then there is a service at one of the cemeteries that the towns people attend and we will be there also. On this day, we remember not only those service people that have passed away but also the ones that are in active service right now, like my son and his unit. I will also talk to my son on the internet and touch base with him. We have a lot of veterans in our town.

It should be remembered that as tragic as any death is, the Allied nations lost more men on D Day on the beach than we have lost in Iraq and Afghanistan combined.

Like wise happy memorial day,yes your right we should thankful to all heroes.Because of them we have peace of mind and we can sleep during night time with out worries.

Sorry this is late. I got behind on my email. I did have a Happy Memorial day. I called up my dad who is a WWII vet. He didn't do anything special except mow the lawn.
