| | Well, I have a natural way that I follow, which is one 1000mg and 2 100mg grape seed extracts. I used to be on Allegra, but it was so expensive that I looked for other ways. Other ways to help would be washing your hair at night. Pollen and weed extracts collect in your hair throughout the day, which you then end up breathing at night when you sleep. Also, getting Febreze's Allergen Reducer is a good way to help make things better. You can spray it on just about anything, even car seats or bedding. Lastly, I would ask my pharmacist what the best over the counter medicine for allergies is. If you don't want to go to a doctor, and I'm assuming you don't since you are asking mylotters, they might be the next best source of information. I wish you the best of luck though. Allergies are so miserable! | | | | | | |

| | OK, first go to all of your windows and close them. Then put up thick blankets over the curtains to block out any sunlight. Next, put a allergy filter on your AC and keep the house cool. Lastly, do not let anyone in or anyone out of the house. ha ha This way, all the allergens stay outside and you are safe. :) Oh, that won't work, will it? Sawwy!!! I was just teasing. Please don't take it the wrong way. The only way to get my eyes to stop watering is to go inside and stay inside. Which doesn't always work...but I try. The best medication that you can get is from the doctor. They sell stuff over the counter that used to be by prescription only. But I think that is at a weaker dosage. | | | | | | |

| | There are so many different types of antihistamine that could help relieve your allergies. If one type does not work for you then try another. I have personally tried several but none worked for me. I found a homeopathic tablet that works very well for me though. What it does is it enhances the body's natural immune system. I take this with some nasal spray for my hayfever and I only get slight symptoms rather than a full on attack. Hope this helps. | | | | | | |

| | Allergies and the tendency to have allergic reactions sometimes run in some families. You may have allergies even if they do not run in your family. The first thing you should do is, to be aware of your particular allergic triggers and reactions. Certain foods, vaccines and medications, latex rubber, aspirin, shellfish, dust, pollen, mold, animal dander, and poison ivy are the most common allergens. Once you identifie them go away or avoid them completely. Otherwise visit your allergist for medications. | | | | | | |

| | I've found that 50-100 mg of zinc a day has helped my allergies tons! My allergies used to make me sick with cold-like symptoms all the time, but they cleared up a lot when I started taking zinc. Try it for a month or two and if you don't notice any difference, then you probably don't need the zinc and can stop taking it. | | | | | | |

| | What kind of allergies do you have? I have bad allergies around spring. I take Magnolia Flower, a spray called Tree Mix 1 (for the oak), and I was taking a natural product called Allerplex. It was helping until I discovered there were animal products in it - and I'm a vegetarian. They are all homeopathic. | | | | | | |

| | Allergies can be caused by Plant pollen . This time of year many plants are giving off pollen and it travels on the wind, gets in your nose, and you have a allergy. If this is the case, you might benefit from taking bee pollen. It is collected by a Beekeeper, and sold in health food stores. Its quite inexpensive, but must be taken for a year before it becomes effective. Start by taking a tiny amount and gradually take more, up to a teaspoon every day. Eat it on your toast and honey every morning. | | | | | | |

| | Hey, didn't you just move to another house recently? If you did, you might have new allergies. I moved three years ago and my allergies got worse. I hope that's not the case for you. Because when I moved to my new house the new allergies are more intense. I say lots of non drowsey Benedril, it helps with the allergies. And it doesn't make you drowsey. | | | | | | |

| | Allergies are now increasing day by day. Don't worry. Just get the treatment prescribed by Doctor and try to eat more and more green vegetables. Avoid any food from Hotels / Restaurants etc and fast foods are really to be avoided. Allergies mainly are food borne, so keep close care on diet. | | | | | | |

| | First of all, you have to know whats causing your allergy. Maybe you had been eating some food that cause it to appear. Better consult someone who specializes in such matter and if you should find out what's causing the allergy, you better be careful next time about eating or coming close to it. Allergy might be caused also by dust, pets, whatever. Just try to find out what's harming you. | | | | | | |
