I highly reccommend going to Barnes & Noble on line and you will find just about anything you are looking for there. They also list next to the titles the discount used or resale of buy outs that others have available. I always go there before I consider purchasing on line. I get really good deals and I always find what I am looking for.

You may be able to go to Scholastic Books online and order. When they have specials during the year, they have them really reasonable, and it is so fun to have your own books. Our local bookstore also buys and sells used books, maybe you could find a used bookstore that would have some. The other thing is to look at Goodwill or other thrift shops,as books are often cheap there. And yard sales. If she runs out of those, she might try Boxcar Children books. A little more oldfashioned, but very entertaining, with kids playing the lead in the stories.

My kids love those books as well. My son use to read them and now my daughter is.
All the books are good in the series.
You should be able to find them in most book stores I think.
Jack and Annie are great characters a pretty realistic as well.

These were my daughter's favourites too, when she was this age. Her all time favourite was 'Tonight On The Titanic,' which she read again and again. Another one she loved, was Ghost Town At Sundown. My daughter read these 6 or 7 years ago, and there were around 25 in the series at that time. She was given a copy of the first one she ever read at her school book fair. They were also available in the school library, and should be on sale at most major bookstores.

Have you tried Half.com? They may carry some of these books for a good price. I am so glad she found something that she is interested in! Maybe it will encourage her to read more!

Hello applsofgld. Have you tried checking the website? I have never heard about this series of books yet. It certainly sound interesting and educational. I will try and browse through the site to see what's so fascinating about this books. My girls are both book lovers and I might add this to their list of must read books.

My daughter loves these books- I'd check the yard sales- I know my daughter is putting alot of hers in the yard sale this year- She has moved on from them- They are great books to- I have read alot of them- Makes the child use their imagination- and makes them think- They are very interesting and keep your attention. Great books!

Bookmooch.com has a lot of these books. Bookmooch is a trading book website. I checked the site and there are many books by Mary Pope Osborne for trade.

My 7 year old and 5 year old love these, and you can't beat the price! We usually go to borders and get a few for $4 a piece. Another way to find them cheap would be on ebay. Or garage sales. How about the library? They are great books, full of adventure!! :)
