Do you believe in getting a gardener?

A person hires someone else because it gets to the point that whatever they are doing is taking up more time/talent than they are willing/able to do by (or for) themselves.

If you have the means and you want a bigger/more beautiful/more productive garden than you have time to do yourself... Of course... Share the wealth and hire someone.

No I don't think you are being lazy at all Gardening takes up a lot of time and effort. If you have another job that is hard to do Not many people have that much time I know I wouldn't!

No you are not being lazy, you just know your means and that's ok. Me, I love to garden and would find it a great challenge. I often find myself staring at my garden wishing I had more to do. But if it's to much for you, that's no problem. Hire some one.

Absolutely. If you have the money, hire someone to do the gardening. If you have something better to do with your time, and you can afford it, why not? I'd do it in a minute if I could afford it.

We have lawn service companies here that you can hire for one or more services. If you want them to just cut the grass, they will do that. If you want them to trim, edge, fertilize, whatever, they will do it and charge you accordingly.

I used to love to mow our little yard. It only took fifteen or twenty minutes to cut the grass and in the summer I did it twice a week, unless we didn't get any rain. But now I'm physically unable to cut the grass and my partner does it. But it won't be long until they won't be able to either. Little by little we are reducing the grassy area by using ground cover, shrubs, etc. We are considering paving the little side yard as a patio. Hopefully we will eventually have no grass to worry about and still have a good looking yard.
