How clean do you keep you car?

I have a dog and there is always dog hair everywhere in my car. I have made seat covers to protect the front seats so that my friends do not have to deal with the hair getting on their clothes.
With the summer time my car, on the outside is always dusty. I like it to be clean all the time but I am moving to a house closer to work and I will have a dirt driveway. That makes it impossible to keep it clean.
I take pride in having a clean car, but with a dog it is almost impossible. I am learning to just let it go since I would have to give up the dog to change it.
Do you keep your car immaculate? Do you allow dogs in your car? Any quick remedies to keeping a car clean?

I do not own a car. However, at one stage, I was driving the company's van. I keep the vehicle internal clean at all times, because it was an old van, and I do not want cockroches and other "beasts" patronising the van. As for the exterior, I washed it weekly. Unless it was dirtied by rain or bird droppings, I washed it
the same day.

I would be the same way with someone else's vehicle. I respect other people's cars. I like to get mine clean as possible but my dog means so much to me. My next car will have an area in the back that I put a gate up and that way he will be airconditioned in summer and I can keep the hair confined to one area.
I like to clean my car when the birds aim for it, also. I think they aim for the clean cars! LOL

My car does not have dog hair problem because i have never give my dog a ride with my car but my husband's car.I won't say my car is clean all the time but i do clean my car quite often when it's necessary.I always keep a portable car vaccum in my car which i can vaccum my car anytime immediately when me or someone make a mass...it's so convenience and easy to keep your car clean.

I used to have one of those vacs. The only problem is that it doesn't get dog hair out of the fabric. I really love my dog so I overlook this issue. Peopl that don't love dogs just can't tolerate it. I hav one friend refuse to ride in my car because of the doghair. It turns out that she was a back stabber and critisized everyone. That isn't a friend in my books.
Maybe one day they will make a small vac that really has great suction and can do the job. I will try the sponge method next.
