Do you donate blood or sell your plasma?

I used to donate blood but now plasma is the bigger of the two in demand. It cost over $800 for it in the hospital and plasma banks can draw twice a week from a client. It is screened for diseases and you must be in good health to sell plasma. I supplement my income this way and it is easy. I take a book along to read and this is a restful time for me. I know that my blood is clean due to the intense screening that it goes through. Do you donate blood or sell your plasma?

I am a regular blood donor. I try to donate annually. In Singapore, blood plasma is also donated not purchased. However, recipents will need to find their own donors. I doubt anyone sells it locally here.
