I'm tired of people having children...

...and then dumping them on me. Most of my friends and neighbors know that I'm a full time stay at home mom/work at home mom. So, they feel no guilt at all, about dropping their kids off at my house, so they can run off to their paying jobs; or to the Caribbean; or where ever! And, to make it worse, most of these people, don't feel the need to return the favor, when I need a babysitter--too busy they claim. I am just sick of it. Don't these other moms know that I'm busy too? Just because I'm at the house with my kid, doesn't mean that I'm not actually working. Between cleaning and grocery shopping and kid stuff, and running a business, I don't have one spare minute on most days. In fact, I would consider the work away from home job to be easier than a stay at home moms job. Not to mention that I run a full time work at home business everyday. Where do they think all my time is going? Do they imagine that I laze around on the couch all day eating bon-bons and painting my toes. I love my daughter and work hard to take care of her. At the end of the day, I'm just as tired as they are, and have done just as much work, but haven't been paid cash. I think it might be time for some of these other people to start doing the same for their kids. Will these people never learn?

They do because you let them. Next time they just drop by to "let" you watch their kids say, "I'm sorry but I'm just too busy today". ~~~~~ "Do Something Once, It's a Favor... Do It Twice, It's Your Job." ~ ParaTed2k's (Not So) Famous Sayings.
