Well I just stumbled upon to one of their songs, I just can't help but reminisce the memories whenever I come to hear this particular. It's one of the under-rated songs during their time, and probably one of their very best.

The title of the song is, "All That I Bleed."It has great meaning, the lyrics was well-written and the song is very uplifitng too(well, that's what I think!LoL).

Here's the link, I suggest you check it out first and listen before posting comments!;)

Thanks..

Metal lost a lot with the death of Criss Oliva! You are right, All That I Bleed is a great song from an awesome band.

It would have been interesting to hear the contribution Criss would have made to Trans Siberian Orchestra.

Yes, I was also shocked after hearing Criss's tragic death. He could've been making good songs till now, but this is the best way I can do to re-live his great contributions to the heavy-metal genre..

You're very welcome, I'll check it and add you to my list.

I think Savatage been active since 1979(?), don't know the exact year.. It was this song that made me curious about the band. T'was only then that I learned about their guitarist, Criss Oliva, died from a tragic car accident. I loved the song, and was searchin' for it since. I am really glad that I finally got a copy of it, the song is really great.

Savatage began in 78 as a power trio called Avatar. I remember watching them at Tarpon Springs High School in Florida. They did covers of Rush, Van Halen, Queen and others... always a good time!

I think, All that I bleed is one of the most beautiful ballads Savatage have ever written, matched only by the incredible Believe. Both of them have me in tears almost everytime I listen to them (which, consequently, I don't do very often). I think Savatage and the piano are a perfect match.

Yes, I believe that too. They now dedicate "All that I Bleed" to Chriss, who's the brother of Jon Oliva, their keybordist.
