"I'm Gonna Miss Her" is my favorite song ever. In the song Brad chooses fishing, which is what I thought I would choose. Instead I chose the wife. I wonder if this was the correct choice. I really love fishing, and my wife hates it. I can't have it both ways, so I don't fish now unless I can get back before the wife gets off work. I really like this song, but would you choose the wife or fishing? Such a hard choice!

Well, I could turn the word fishing into golf, except my husband doesn't go EVERY day, it just feels like it. If he likes fishing more than his wife/woman, than he doesn't love her too much. As for the song, the year it came out was the year we drove 22 hours non-stop to my husband's hometown. We heard that song so many times over those two car rides (and even while down there) that we were absolutely sick of it by the time we got home. But I love all of Brad Paisley's songs. He puts such a humourous twist to them.

Well, if I were married there wouldn't be a problem. I'd just go fishing with my husband! I don't mind it at all. Have you heard his new one, "Ticks?" It's bound to be another Brad Paisley hit.

It sounds like a struggle between priorities! Lol. "Fishing or my wife" If that has to be a question... maybe you really should rethink your priorities. And maybe talk to her. Because going fishing shouldn't be THAT big of a deal. My husband goes fishing and I love that for him. I love to go fishing too, but we have two small boys which means I'm usually staying at home with them. I haven't been fishing in years! Lol. But, I don't have a problem when my husband goes fishing. But yeah, if it were everyday, I might start to have a problem. But, I think the difference is, I don't think I would be the "nagging" wife about it. We'd talk about it. Plain and simple. Hope things turn out better for you. ;/

I love that song as well and Brad Paisley is one of my favorites. I would try and find a compromise even if it meant that I had to cut back on my fishing... a little fishing is better than none at all.
