Does your town have these?  

I love everything about Lancaster, PA including the horses and the policemen. You have a gold mine there. We spent a week there two summers ago and had so much fun. We went to a buffet called, I think, "Yoders" or maybe it was near a place called that. Either way, what an amazing place and the horses just add to it. Such great memories !!

Seen them in bikes and cop cars, no horses yet.

We don't have that here, but it would be interesting. Where in town do the police on horses patrol? Just in more commercailized areas or all over?

I think it's a very cool thing to see! Unfortunately, I'm sure it's a safety hazard for many reasons which is why I think we don't see it often. I live on the southeast coast and the heat about kills us. I can't imagine how the poor horses and officers would survive in these temperatures :)

I love horses. I think they are awesome. Tere is just something about the outside of a horse that melts the inside of a man. But I hate cops. So not a good combi. Not that I am a criminal or something. It is just this irrational feeeling like how some people have a phobia for clowns. and to answer your question, no, they don't have it here.

No horses rides by cops, just Bikes and patrol vehicles only. But cops on Horses simply look majestic.

I have seen a few in Washington DC, wondering around memorials and museums and think they are cool. Not sure about the droppings the horses leave behind but yeah, I would like to see them in action i.e. chasing a theif or something LOL

Oh wow, we don't really have that in our city. I've seen some police officers on horses before, but only during a special event like a festival or something. They don't usually ride horses around town on a normal day. I think it would be really cool though if they did. That would be kind of fun I think! hehe

We have them, and I do not like them. Horses in a capital does not go well. They make a mess on the streets, they do not smell nice in the summer heat. On crowded streets....no, I do not like them at all

In my town in the summer- some police ride bicycles- We call them cycle cops- lol... No horses- Of course we still have cops in police cars also- I don't see too many cops at all in this town- pretty small town-
