For wildflowers we have a lot of daisies, blue eyed grass, indian paintbrush. For flowers I have planted there is mostly iris and lily of the valley. Hopefully in the next year I'll get some more flowers in.
Oh, and we also have trillium and ladyslippers growing wild. I tend to forget about them because they grow out of the way.

This year, in front, I planted pansies (my mom used to always have them and I've never grown them) both in solid yellow and yellow/burgundy blotch varieties. I also put burgundy violas in containers on the front porch. Then I have some perennials (lilacs, daylilies, hostas).
In back, I planted a really pretty variety of geranium called "Wilhelm Langguth" - I have never seen or grown these before either but I was attracted to the foliage. Here's a pic from the web:

In between the geraniums, I have white pansies. Also in back, I have miniature roses (pink), lilacs, peonies, daylilies and hostas.
As you can imagine, I divide and replant the perennials here and there. Saves a bit of money and energy on planting new things each year :)

I have several colors of vincas, orange zinnias, red geraniums, several colors of moss rose, and red sage. I planted them all. All but the zinnias are planted in pots. I love having flowers in my yard. It makes the yard so much more cheerful to me.
