what do you like to drink when you want to unwind? |
|
At the end of the day when I want to relax and unwind -- I go for a glass of wine or a margarita or ice-cold beer. There's nothing like imbibing alcohol to de-stress and relax your mind and body. What do you like to drink to help you relax and unwind?

2. angel_marie5 (1251) | 1 year ago | to relax and unwind, the best i can have are milkshakes or fruit smoothies, water ice, orange juice with pulp and load of ice cubes and ice cold cold can help me give some relaxation rather than alcoholic drinks that give me headache afterwards. much more for coffee that makes me sick 'coz my heart suffers palpitation.

Oh well, I have to remind myself to buy these things next time I go to a store. As for headaches or hangover, you can try vodka -- that doesn't give headaches.

3. Jennifer21 (2072) | 1 year ago | I am actually unwinding right now from a hard day of typing on mylot:P I love to unwind with my good ole rum and coke. I have them 3-4 nights a week. This week more though. I only drink at night, except for Sunday, that is my drinking day where I start at noon. I am and I bet will always be a regular drinker.

4. HannahJane (174) | 1 year ago | I don't drink much anymore, but I used to enjoy a beer or a glass of wine after work. Just enough to relax, but not enough to get inebriated. I used to like to lie in the bathtub and soak while sipping on some wine. Great way to unwind!

During the week I like to have either some lemonade or some kind of juice. My family used to have margartia Tuesdays but that stopped when it got too cold and my nieces moved in.

8. bunbunrocks (173) | 1 year ago | When I'm really needing a drink (which isn't very often) I get out the blender and whip up a Pina Colada. Then, I run to the bathroom, blast the hot water in the tub, and drop in a bath bomb. Then lock the door to make sure the kids won't come in! Nothing better than a frozen drink and a hot bath to calm me down!

I agree that there is no better choice of unwinding for me. Alcohol is the only thing to go, but I don't drink much and don't get myself drunk, so that's alright. I think the body is really relaxed after the alcohol dose and that would make me sleep a lot better at night too, it's like it helps shut down the tensions in the mind somehow.
