The Flag of the United States of America is flown to honor many ideals, people and organizations. For one day a year, 14 Jun, we fly the Stars & Stripes for a different reason.
Proudly fly the U.S. Flag today! Not for the troops, the president, the person you wish was president, or even "baseball, hot dogs, apple pie and chevrolet"...
Today, Fly the flag to honor the Flag itself!

Yeah.
On the news tonight they had a story about a car dealer getting fined $50 a day for flying too many flags. The city had a "clutter law" that included not flying more than three flags in any one property. He flew four.
We really live in a strange world.

That city council should be fined for cluttering up city with their presence.
