Are you a Snap On person or Craftsman? Even though Snap On costs more I really like their lifetime warranty on what they sell. There are only a few Snap On dealers in my area so I have to wait for one of them to show up or call me to let me know they are in the area.

Oh, lord..my husband has both in his toolbox. When he can afford it. he will buy from snap on. If not...than craftman will do in the mean time. He has a snap on truck that comes to his work place once a week. So it is easy for him to order from snap on. The last thing he bought was a new tool box. But he still wants abigger one.

Hi ya, Well I'm not really a tool person as I'm useless at DIY and suchlike. I used to work with alot of engineers in the job I used to be in and they all swore by Snap On tools mainly because of their 'lifetime warranty They are expensive, but apparantly 'they're worth it!' hehe

I agree that the Snap On lifetime warranty makes the Snap On tools well worth the difference in the price. I'll take them over the Craftsman tools anyday.

My hubby loves snap on tools freak369 but are just wondering if you have ever broken one and tried to get a new one. I havent before you wonder but have been told it is just about impossible to get the life time warranty aproved. So there for it avoided. Sorry to interupt your discussion with this but just questioning. good luck Tredale.

My husband is also a Snap-on man. He is almost as attached to his tools as he is to me. He will buy other brands if the tool is right, but regularly will go back to Snap-on.
