We went to VBS all this week and we plan to go to another VBS next week. My children really enjoy it. What did you learn from Vacation Bible School? What kind of crafts did your group do? This week we talked about faith and I have definitely been blessed by going to VBS this week.

My favorite time of the year when I was in elementary was Vacation Bible School Time. I greatly enjoyed all the stories about heroism, health lectures, craft the most. I always looked forward to that time of the year and during the closing ceremony we would march in to the chapel singing the song "Onward, Christian Soldiers" with a crown on our head. Then we would receive our certificates.
The crafts that I have made I display them in my room and play with them when the VBS is over. I don't remember most of the crafts that I did but I guess one of them was a house made of popsicle sticks. It was very difficult and I think I didn't complete that project. So I made a simple one like a box instead.

We actually just finished up VBS at our church.
We did the sports themed one called "Game Day Central". It was all about how to be saved and become a member of God's Team and work for him.

Daily vacation bible school was one of the things that I always looked forward to during summer as a child. I just love it and we did a lot of things from memorizing verse to coloring books, drawing and telling stories and dramatization of bible stories. I will have my children join them next summer.
