I was wondering how my fellow Mylotters like their eggs?
1. soft boikled?
2. medium boiled?
3. Hard boiled.
I love my eggs medium boiled /on the borderline of hardboiled and this new egg timer is fantastic lol because you put it in with the eggs and it changes colour through all three transformations to make every one the perfect egg as they love it..Isn't that nice? I am now taking pills for the flu!!

Gosh, what is an egg timer? Is it just another clock thingy?
I like my eggs fried. I don't like them hard-boiled usually. But eggs are real nice in all ways of cooking.
Barbie, you seem to be falling ill quite often. Drink more water, eat more fruits, jump around and exercise or something. Surely you don't need a nanny?:P

I hate soft boiled eggs, cos my parents forced me to eat them due to high nutrition in my younger years.
I don't mind all the rest. Hard boiled, fried, etc. Scrambled is ok but sometimes if too uncooked makes me queasy.
Your egg timer sounds fantastic! how much did it cost you? Is it plastic like a usual timer, or just a waterproof sheet of paper that changes colour like a litmus strip?

I bought one this morning on ebay. It is red hard plastic of some kind that you put into the water with the eggs, it goes darker as the eggs cook and shows how set the egg is inside. Do a search on ebay for egg timers and see if they are available where you are.

It depends what I am going to do with the egg as to how I like them boiled. If I am going to dip long "soldiers" of fresh, crusty bread spread with butter, I like them cooked medium, for about three minutes.
If I am going to use them for sandwiches or to fill pasty cases, or in salads, I usually let them go for a full six minutes, just to make totally sure the yolks are well and truly set!

I like my eggs either fried or made into an omelette, I can't believe I was in a hotel this morning and they had NO fried eggs on the menu only scrambled or poached, ewww! It's very rare that I will have a hard boiled egg, more so as a child I loved them with soldiers and the yolk had to be runny! I hated it when the yolk went hard.

Its always soft boiled egg for me. I don't like the hard one. I always boiled my egg for a few minutes only and will sip on the soft egg yolk like a soup.

HARD BOILED definitely. I don't know, when I see soft-boiled or medium boiled egg, I gag. I really don't like eating raw stuff and for me, if the egg isn't hard boiled it's raw. I know I sound weidry... but oh well, that's how I like my egg :)

We have a space museum nearby where you can buy those kinds of neat gadgets and others. Kids have always been very amused by scientific gadgets. I remember over forty five years ago the neighbor got a gyroscope, boy that was a great toy. Now, my friend how many times are you going to get the flu this year? This seems like the third time. Or did you find a special scientific version in the museum, LOL. I am glad you got our for a day, it will help you feel more human again. Go have a medium egg for me. I had forgotten you can have them that way.

Do you think the Nutronix will help you feel better. Perhaps you had bette wait until after the flu pills. Sorry that you are unwell.
I like eggs any way my husband will prepare them. They always seem to break when I do them. He is a much better cook as well. I like to dunk soldiers (bread strips) in soft boiled eggs.
The new timer sound great. Good luck with getting the nice, new house. The Berry Tree will provide.

I like my eggs hardboiled because i do not want a situation were i can easily contact a virus due to eating medium boiled meals or eggs to be precise. In modern life today diseases and virus are contacted from not well cooked meals eg;one of the reasons bird flue is contacted eating not well cooked chicken. Cheers

Hi friend,
Fantastic thing.
I also like medium boiled egg. Egg timer is a great technology. I liked it.
Here in india i think there no such technology. So every time we cook a hard boiled egg. And medium boiled is buy from restaurants. They have experience and they can simply create it.
How many times we can use the egg timer. Whats the rate of it......
