My sister's wedding shower  |

|  My sister's wedding shower was scheduled for June 10, 2007. On Saturday night my mom youngest sister and I went to set up for the shower. We were going to have it in my brother's store. We got there and got the spices ready for the spice game, the clothes pins ready for the clothes pin game, and the tray ready for the memory game. We then went into the basement to find the last 6 chairs we needed. they were all dusty, but they weren't moldy like my mom thought they would be. We even had everything ready for my sister to try to bake a cake from scratch without a recipe.
We got home from setting up for the shower to find out that there was a problem. My sister was in Florida on her honeymoon until Saturday. They were supposed to fly out Saturday afternoon to come back to Nebraska. they got stuck on the interstate due to an accident and missed their flight. My sister called almost in tears because the next flight out was Sunday morning. They would not get back to Omaha until 3pm. The shower was supposed to start at 1pm. She asked if we could just start it later but I had to leave by 5 to get to work. She wouldn't get there till at least 6. Needless to say we have rescheduled the shower for July 22,2007 so that she can actualyy be there and so can the rest of us.

| |  Some time the best of plans get waylaid. I sorry to hear about you having to postpone your sister's wedding shower. Sometimes things get to change and then sometimes those changes make things better. Next time it shouldn't take as long to get it all set up. I hope nothing happens to have to postpone it again.

| | I think she was more upset about it than we were. We were not ready for it totally and so this really did help us have the time to get everything ready. Unless something happens and Ryan takes everything down we will be almost set up for the shower when it is time for it. | | | |

| |  I'm sure everything will go fine on July 22 and that all of you will have a great time at your sister's shower. I know how bad the interstates are here in Florida and can understand how your sister missed her flight home. I'm glad you could reset the shower to a time when everyone can be there.

| | I don't know the interstates there but I know even here in Nebraska it can be easy to miss your flight if you are not where you need to be very early. If you happen to get behind someone who is moving slow or something, you can be very late for something. | | | |

| |  I hope the shower turned out great for you sister and she was able to have a good time and enjoy herself . It was too bad about the delay but she is lucky to have a sister and a mother like you who were able to take the time to plan a nice shower for her and to be able to work around the inconviencience that was no one's fault . I hope all went well as this is something she will remember always and even though it was delayed she was still able to have it in the end .
