He should be not only disbarred in his current state but declared unfit to practice any form of law in any state.

There is a part of me that would like to see him in jail, but there is another part of me that would like to see him working a minimum wage job paying damages from a civil suit brought by the parents.

Hey, maybe both a jail term AND financial restitution!

Not only should he go to jail, but he should also be disbarred — if he has not been already. I am sick of this liberal crap that portrays middle and upper class white men as bigots and racists, and all the blacks as poor downtrodden and the middle and upper class blacks as good moral and descent characters who have to tell us hedonistic whites how to behave. Such is just wishful thinking. A lawyer should not be influenced by Hollywood's Social Engineering which is what it is becoming. i hope that the courts can reverse the damage before the lives's of those young men are ruined.

That man has affected a lot of people, he should do jail time and do financial restitution.
Let's see, there were 3 young men, and their team. Maybe some of these kids could have gone pro. We do know, it negatively affected their college experience. There parents paid good money for their kids to go to this school and so it cost them a lot.

The rest of the team, who were punished by association. Their season was cancelled. Again the team and their parents were affected in the same way as these 3 young men.

The coach, he lost his job. He was condemned for something that did not happen.

Now let's look at Duke, here is a black mark against a good school. Were there qualified candidates who did not apply because of the 'bad people' that go there or the reputation of the school.

The man owes a lot of people, big time.

The pain and suffering he caused for these kids and their families goes way beyond dollars and cents.

Yes he should go to jail.

Nifong abused his office and deliberately went after these Lacrosse players even when he knew the evidence was not there, and then tried to hide evidence that would have cleared the players.

He used his office in order to try and gain political advantage at the expense of people that he knew were innocent.

The question is, how many times has this happened before, and how many innocent people are in prison because of him?

He should be sent to prison...preferably one that houses a bunch of those that he put there.

They would welcome him and make sure that he is well taken care of.

If he really did hide evidence that could have exonerated the defendants, then he should go to jail. I know this kind of thing happens way too often (especially in high-profile cases), so I wouldn't be surprised by it all that much.

But I wouldn't take Ann Coulter's word that the facts of the case are as she described them.
