I'm sitting here watching TV while my daughter naps. I love this show "Deadliest Catch" on the Discovery channel. Has anybody else seen it? These guys are crazy, risking their lives every year so people can have Alaskan King Crab and Snow crabs. I had no idea how insane the conditions can get and yet, they all say they wouldn't do anything else. You can't help but admire their guts, determination and nerve.

I used to watch the discovery channel many years ago, it was quite interesting....It sounds like you are quite comfy and settle for a little while...Enjoy.

Yeah, I love "Deadliest Catch" as well. It's a marathon today which is neat. They have a couple marathons on Discovery, and usually it is "Deadliest Catch." Sig is my favorite with his brother Edgar. I like all the captains, but I admit I never got into Keith's ship and crew. They were nice fellows, but Sig, Phil, and Jonathan always seemed more active, as if more was going on. They all are tough guys. Just look at that rodeo greenhorn. He didn't last 24 hours.

Phil's my favorite.. he's got a twisted sense of humor and loves to pull pranks on the other crab captains. LOL Did you know that nearly all of them have MySpace pages?

That is hilarious! I'll have to check those out. I like Phil also for how he interacts with his boys. The three of them together are a comedy team.

Did I thank you for sending those myspace pages of the guys on Deadliest Catch? If not, thanks for that and for the best response.

I have not watched that show. Usually I am into archaeological discoveries and finding something that happened a long time ago. Fishing is a dangerous business and I suppose they have to watch for being pinched by the crab. I cannot stand that cold weather, but imagine with the wind blowing, and the danger of gales, not to mention the danger of infection if your finger gets pinched by a crab. I will now watch Iron Chef America with a deeper respect when the secret ingredient is crab.
