| |  Ive been told labs calm down around 3-4 years of age.
Although I've seen some calm down much later.
One of my former neighbors had a black lab, and at the age of 4 she wasn't showing signs of calming down as much as she would have liked to have had her calm down.
Labs are rambuctious dogs that need rooom ot run and play outside....
they are good dogs to run with if you can do it, I used to have an uncle that had a black lab that loved to run with me.....
Training will help some but its a matter of time for them to settle down a bit.

I am waiting for her to grow up a little then I can start that that. 3 to 4 years to calm down seems a bit too much.
