I love the songs by Himesh Reshamiya. He is a fantastic singer giving wonderful numbers that are rocking India.
The song that keeps on playing on my head whole day is the song by Himesh only. The number is
"Ye tera mera milna,
ye dilo ka khilna,
yeh hai khuda ki marzi,
yuhin nahi hai pyar"

Oh, what do the song mean? can you translate for us so we would understand the message at least?
What type of songs does he make, alternative? pop? love songs?
Who among the American singers could he be likened to? Enrique Iglesias?

I would try to translate that. It goes like this:
Yeh tera mera milna (The meeting of you and me)
Yeh dilo ka khilna (The flowering of hearts)
Yeh hai khuda ki marzi (Its the wish of God)
Yuhin hi nahi hai pyar (Its not just like that love)
Yeh tera paas aana (Your coming near to me)
Yu nazrein milana (the meeting of eyes)
Yeh hai khuda ki........
He makes romantic songs that have fast beats. the songs are rocking and will make you dance like anything.
I dont know whom to relate him to an American singer because i dont hear much of american singers. Sorry for that!

The translated words are great. I guess he's really a good singer. Does he compose his songs? or he lets others compose for him.
Oh I guess you can't compare because you're not familiar. But if you say he makes fast beat songs, then he must be like the pop artists.

I like mostly rock songs, but that one there is a pop song.

Ear worm is sure an appropriate name for it! The one I've been infected with too much lately is that stupid Viagra jingle set to Elvis's Viva Las Vegas. The worse one I ever had was a few years ago when I was delivering mail on a really nice day one of my customers decided to sing the Mr. Rogers' Meighborhood theme..."It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood, a beautiful day..." Not only all day but for DAYS I couldn't get rid of that dumb thing! Worse part is you can start on another song intentionally but the original "worm" keeps coming back without fail. It's a beautiful day...lol...come on, sing along...
