I was just thinking if I had,or adopted a baby tommorow what would I name him or her.I think if it were a girl,it would be a little different like AvaMarie as a first name and Josiah for a boy. What about you?

For some reason I have been in love with the name Megan for a couple months now. Not sure of a middle name. For a boy I love Remy but have to talk my huband into that one. I guess a back up would be Vander or Ryan. Names are so much fun!

Those are wonderful names...When I was pregnant and thinking of names, I liked Marcus for a boys name..Well, my sister had her son first and she didn't have a name, so I told her about the name Marcus and she loved it..Now my nephew is Marcus and My son is Justin..that was okay tho. everything worked out..

You know I know people and have heard of people that have one or more grandchildren with the same name.A long time ago,we had moved and our new neighbor had three kids and was pregnant. We had got into a discussion about the kids fathers and why we named our kids what we did.I only had one child at the time. She told me that her third childs father was her boyfriend till she found out he was married. When she had the baby, she went to his work and told him that she had a boy and named him Brian Christopher and he said nothing. Then she found out from the local grapvine that he had a son with his wife a year before she had Brian and that his name is also Brian Christopher.I do genealogy and one of my ancesters was married twice.Between those two marriages he had twenty-three children and two were named Sarah.Small world, even in your own family!

The boy's name would be: Justin Wade (in honor of two very important disabiliy rights advocates- the first one disabled, the 2nd one not), Lysander Partrick, Nathan Scott (after my two best disabled friends from undergrad), Micah Noah, Matthew Jacob, Kevin Che (in honor of both my friend and mentor Kevin Irvine and revolutionary Che Guevara), Charles Xavier (after the X-men character and coolest disabled person ever), Caleb James, Simon Darek, Alexander Callen (the middle name honors musician and AIDS activist Michael Callen, 1956-1993) The girl's name would be: Rebecca Elaine, Justine Victoria, Cassandra Simone, Katherine Sierra, Onyx Triumph (I know it's weird, but I like it), Eliza Marie, Naia Grace (in honor of Naia Grace Fairchild, one small girl whose birth changed the world at least in part), Molly Rene, Wendy Elizabeth, or Ariel Martina (in my family, it's traditional for the moms to use their name as one girl child's middle name).

Though I can't have anymore and it is unlikely I would adopt, my man and I talked about us having another child last night. We want Holly for a girl because it would blend both our names together. We didn't think up a boy name though because we were "dreaming" of a girl. I have 1 girl 2 boys. For a middle name I would pick Ann for my sister.

That's funny. My daughter was born in January,if she had been born a month earlier, nearer to Christmas we would of named her Holly Noel.
