porcelain angel - This is one of the many angels in my collection. I decorate a Christmas tree with them, but some I leave out all year 'round to enjoy.

Someone posted a discussion the other day about collecting as a hobby. I couldn't get my picture to upload then, so am doing it now. I collect angels. This is one of the porcelain angels of a set of 15 that are among my favorites. The wings are translucent, but that doesn't really show in the photo.

Hello susie. How nice to hear that you love to collect angels. I have my own huge of collection of pig figurines before. I started to collect way back while studying High School. I really can't remember what drove me to develop such affinity for the pigs. Maybe its their chubby arms and legs. I thought then that my obsession will go on and on. Its a good thing I was able to stop buying those figurines after I graduated from the University. Right now, all my collections are safely tucked in one corner of my house.

How lovely. I see you have them hanging as well ...what a great idea. I have a little boxed, glass angel I'd love to send you to add to your collection. Send me a PM if you're interested. Mmmm...you have angels I have fairies...sort of similar in a way when you think of it ...I have these nice fairy wind-chimes hanging up..plus other fairy figures. I see the wings...the figure is beautiful

I love both. I think fairies are just earth bound angels!
