Yes! This is beyond Toy Story, beyond Monsters Inc.! If this is on PAR with Finding Nemo, it is VERY CLOSE! But no, I believe this is the GREATEST PIXAR has EVER MADE! A RAT, aspiring to be a gourmet chef, a human with no gourmet skills, acknowleging his ignorance to a lower life form.
I will have to see it again and again, and I will buy the DVD when it comes out.
I'm sorry ... Am I rambling? BUT this movie is so ... so ...
You have to see it. If there are other movies like it, it is among the classics.

I will see it again later this week to take in the details to the subplots (I would do it today, but I also wanted to see Michael Moore's "Sicko" and the theatre playing it doesn't have compatible showtimes for the two :( Or maybe I'll pay the higher price of a later showing. It will be worth it.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. This is definately a movie I really am wanting to see. It looks so Good, but since I do not go to the Movie Theaters, I will have to wait until it comes out on DVD, and then probably rent it until I can own this one as well.

Some movies are made for the big screen, Jurassic Park being one of them. I just can't imagine seeing that on a tiny TV screen. Yes, I do have a computer that plays DVDs, but the experience does not compare to the theatre's big screen.
Of course one has to put up with noisy kids (including the adult ones) and the concession throwers, but alas, such is life.
I promise you will not be disappointed when you experience this story.
