Maybe if it's at your home where your mother & the doggie is, just remember to have a pen by the keyboard so that your 'shadow' can sneak on & use the pen to peck at the keys with.
Oh - yeah - also remind 'em to be careful if the computer chair has wheels so that the chair doesn't go flying back & you end up having a big scare from the big noises & find a doggie sprawled out on the floor.
