is 3. was with me yesterday..He loves little things that he can hold in his hand or put into something..I had balloons and we filled them with water..He wanted me to only make teeny tiny ones. He called them baby balloons. He put them in a bucket and hauled them everywhere..He was so very happy just to have those few balloons. Sometimes just the littlest things and least expensive things are what he seems to enjoy the most....I had my eye on him the whole time because of the balloons...so what makes your child happy?

my daughter is 6 and it took us a while to find something that she is relly content wiht. she used to get bored really easily. we wuldnt spend ridicluous amounts of money on things and we never let her watch tv unless it was one movie or so a day. now she is old enopugh to be able to wach televeison but not too much of it and she just adores the younger kid shows, clifford caliou etc. BUT even that isnt contentable enough for her. HEr passion is coloring drawing, sketching, painting etc. i could give her a box of crayons and a stack of papers and she would be content for hours. its wonderful.

Dirt, water and rocks. Those things make my 5-yr old son so happy. I have a pitcher I fill with water for him to play with outside. He drops rocks into it and watches them fall in. Sometimes he give them to me to toss into the water (he loves watching the little splash from it). He sits in the dirt and lets it run thru his fingers. He throws dirt in the air and digs little holes. I've seen him curl up on a hot day in a patch of soft dirt that's been in the shade all day and fall asleep.
All that money we spent on toys... and he wants to play with dirt, water and rocks. Eventually, I'll introduce him to the joys of MUD. LOL

Our youngest grandson was having a grumpy time until his Opa brought out a spray bottle and handed it to him. He chased Opa around the house with the spray bottle and squirted him with it and when Opa acted like a big fool over it, the little guy would laugh so loudly. It was that kind of laugh that is ever so delightful.

My kids are truly happy and content when we are just hangin out together snuggling..they also love when we have "family" time whether its a dip in the pool together or just hangin out watching tv together etc so long as its all four of us, they are thrilled...Things get so hectic in the course of a week that family time sometimes gets forgotten unfortunately...we're working on it though...I am forever hangin out with my kids..its my husband thats usually missing...

I don't have a child but have many nephews and nieces. My youngest niece is a little above one year old now. I love looking at her smile and making small nods when she agrees with me on something. She acts like a wise person, or more like an adult. What makes her really happy is when I carry her on my lap and allow her to type something on myLot. She has been observing me do that and she wanted to do what I am doing too. Oh... how I love her so much!

Toys, toys and lots more toys LOL he can play all day with toys, making up stories as he goes, turning the lounge into one gigantic story LOL its funny. The one thing he does like while playing with his toys is when I join in, so I try to some of the time.

I also have a 3 year old niece. Whenever we are together she loves to play alot. And we often laugh out loud. She loves to have her favorite milk and her toys too. She also loves to play with the computer and dance and sing along with barney or what have you. I really loves to have a child of my own now LOL I am single I think I still need to find the right person for me. Hehehe. God bless!
