Do you note down all your passwords in a diary? |
|
Many of you must be using different passwords, for the security reasons. Its good to use different and lengthy passwords in different arena. Its always advisable to use more than one password as we won't be losing all our accounts if we are hacked.
How do you manage all those passwords?
I personally have been using 7-8 different kinds of usernames and passwords. Just to be on the safer side, i've written down all those usernames and passwords in a secret diary. I'll not take that diary anywhere. It is stored in a safe place.
How about you? Do you completely trust your memory?

2. kaplya (1010) | 3 years ago | for me my mind is the diary for my important passwords!:)usually i use a certain sets of user IDs and passwords so it makes it easier for me to remember them.if i'm registering on an important site then i just make something like a combination to make it different. it's like one letter here one letter there or one number here and another number there(hope u r getting me lol). i think it's dangerous to write them down because you never know that if someone else gets hold of it somehow. so naturally i have to trust my memory!:)

5. williamjisir (12914) | 3 years ago | I trust my memory. I don't really note down my username and password in a diary. Usually I use the username and password that I can easily remember so that I won't forget. But I think you idea is great in case that we should forget and get it back. I am for your idea completely.

6. derek_a (5061) | 3 years ago | I keep a small notebook where I keep all my user names and passwords. I read once that it is important to change your passwords regularly, so I tend to do this for security. It is also important to keep your virus and firewall software up to date.:-)

7. warriorsdaughter (555) | 3 years ago | I have a couple I use and keep a notebook of all the sites I join along with username and passwords. It can get confusing sometimes in what username I used along with what password I used also.
I use to use the same username and password on anything I joined, but here lately been making some changes for security purposes.

8. GardenGerty (20235) | 3 years ago | I have a small book, with alphabetical tabs and I have put all of the user names and passwords for each thing I have signed up for. Even if I only visit once or twice, then decide it is not for me, I write down the password, in case I change my mind later.

| nunox77 (18) | 3 years ago | well, normally i use the same passwords for sites when i join in. But i guess your way of write down your different passwords it´s a much better way to do than my way of using the same password for every sites i´m a member of. But well, when (if) i´ll have some problem i´ll change all the passwords then (but i´m hoping not)
