~We were bombed by Japan, what are we doing in Europe?
~There is no proof that Hitler is working on some utlimate bomb that destroys whole cities.
~There is no proof that Hitler is running these so-called "death camps".
~What! No bid contracts with Coca-Cola to supply their products to our troops? NO BLOOD FOR COCA COLA!
~Of course THEY are targeting civilians, THEY'RE NAZIs! To keep the moral high ground, we should be careful not to kill any.
~Are our troops really holding European's prisoner without lawyers or their day in court? Constitutional rights should extend to everyone!
~After the Battle of the Bulge there is no way we can win this war.
~Germany was NEVER a threat to the US!
~The new German government has to stand on its own, BRING THE TROOPS HOME NOW!
~Why are our troops expected to drive around in those little jeeps with no armor?
~3 year rotations is too long, our troops are tired of this war!
~American combat deaths have reached the 100,000 milestone... Time to Pull Out with Honor!

Times have changed, we have a different mentality. American do not have the collective will, that we did back in the 40's. A little blood and we get collectively queasy. Terrorist kill civilians all the time but are troops kill just one oh no. Baby killers are heard in the street. Politican started losing it we got to get out. They started tripping over each other to get to the camera first. Then make the rounds on the Sunday political morning shows. Bush lied, Bush lied, Bush lied, is what everyone starts saying. How many miles per gallon does Bush's war get, is said next. Oh how could I forget Clinton's war never cost anyone their life(even though they did, but let us not talk about that). A lot of this country have lost the will to win at any cost. An entire political party is against the war, and will not stop until the war is lost. Party leaders are saying we have lost war is over. I am sorry, we still have a shot at winning, but are we willing to wait.

In my place there has been talks like this too in the coffee house. People there like talking about the politics or specifically things that appear in newspaper or the mass media. They're sitting all day long and doing nothing but chatting. I guess something should be done to them so that they can contribute to the nation, thus helping to solve some of the issues they brought about themselves.
