In reading a newspaper, I usually skip the headlines and directly go to sports section, after that would be the business section and then the front page news. In your case, how do you go about reading a newspaper? Do you also have your favorite section where you tend to read it first?

This is pathetic, but generally I only read the articles that my husband cuts out specifically for me and brings to my attention. There was a reason for this before we retired. Now it is just a habit with him. He reads the entire paper from cover to cover, saves news he thinks I would enjoy and throws the rest away. On the rare occasions when I get to the paper first, I glance at the home and family section and possibly put it aside to read later, then go right to the real estate section which I read more carefully, then the business and technology sections.

Whenever i read newspaper i first go the classified adds section, where i can find partime job and post jobs. After that i transfer sheet to entertainment and leisure section, my third is sports and health and then the front page, to know what happens to the metro.

I always read the paper from front to back. Although I do have my favourite sections, namely the comics and the TV and cinema guide, I still prefer to read this way because this is to ensure that I will not accidentally miss any sections. I try to browse everything from front to back but stop to read those sections that interest me the most. I do the same for magazines and catalogues as well. :)

Hi there. This you might find strange lol... When I get the news paper I go straight to the back first and check out sports and the weekends sports draws, then I will go to the middle and read the Current news, then to 2nd section to read local news and back to the middle section to read international news, then lastly the classifieds and while doing this I like to keep the paper nice and tidy for the next reader...

I brief through the frontpage, but mostly head straight for the Fashion/Theatre/Arts section. I love reading about opportunities to see new/free shows and so on. Then I browse the World News section, and lastly the Metro section (I read the NY Times usually, when I read any newspaper).

I don't read the newspaper usually. I just pick up the news online or watch the news on TV ocassionally. But when I DO have a newspaper, I will read, starting with my favorite section first.

When I read newspaper I usually start it at the back portion where sports column are read, then followed by my favorite column then the headlines. There are also times that I don't read the news / headlines on it since it's aired on the radio and television.

I usually read the front page and then go straight to the classified section with all the births deaths and marriages in it, then once I have read that I go back and read the rest of the paper, I rarely ever read the sports section, I find that bit a bit boring
