I just finished reading the latest Stephen King book, Blaze. It was written under the pen name Richard Bachman that he used to use. Frankly, I wasn't expecting much when I started reading this book, but, as usual, SK never fails you. It really had all of my emotions going. I went from LMAO one minute to crying my eyes out the next. I've always been a huge fan of his work, and as long as he churns them out I will continue to buy. He never disappoints!

Oh I haven't read that one yet. I do have Liseys Story which I haven't read yet but its sitting on my shelf in my "to read pile". I'll get to it soon. What was Blaze about?

The hero(for lack of a better word), is kind of retarded stemming from abuse by his father at an early age. He grows to be huge without a lot of brains. He enters a life of crime, partners up with an average guy who is the brains of the team. The plot centers around a kidnapping plotted out by the partner, and what Blaze does to carry it out. It was so heartbreaking at times and filled with humor at other times. You will enjoy it. You will also enjoy Lisey's Story. You are in for quite a treat.

Hi there, guss. Yes, SK did write some books under his pen name during the early years. He says that he has now retired that pen name. I really think that he is the master of his genre.

That's a very smart thing for your hubby to do, weemam. I could have saved more money if I did that, LOL. However, my book clubs do pass on some savings to me.

That's good, mummymo. As I stated, Blaze is a sort of departure from the usual SK fare, but once you get into it, it is a real page turner.
