Will you help your parents financially in case of their need. In case your parent want to stay with you due to various reasons, will you support them and allow them to stay with your family.

My parents live with us and there is no question about their living alone - in old age people want company more than anything so just providing for their needs and putting them in old home age is not part of our culture. I hope we do not get too Westernized and forget out basic values like in the film 'Baghnaan".

Why not? I am living with my parents. I am still supporting them and the family. Parents are good help to be around and they provide the necessary care and support for us even though we are grown up.

I have let my mom stay with me in a time of need. my home has stairs that are difficult for her and so it was a temporary stay. She does stay with my brother. We work together to see to it that she does not have to stay in a nursing home which would make her so miserable.
