"Located in the Palms Casino Resort, the Playboy-themed, Hugh Hefner Sky Villa is 10,000-square-feet and has a $700,000 Jacuzzi with breathtaking views of the Las Vegas Strip, as well as a bed that rotates beneath a mirrored ceiling, The Los Angeles Times reported. The posh digs are the most expensive of 101 U.S. hotel suites featured in an annual survey conducted by Elite Traveler, a magazine for readers with average household incomes of more than $5 million. " Can you imagine? They wouldn't even let me walk in that place! LOL http://www.arcamax.com/weirdnews/s-215000-976796

Thank you so much esther!!!! I have been looking for somewhere special for hubby and I to go on our anniversary!!! Now I just have to pray that it isn't booked. Seriously, can you imagine the looks on the faces of the staff if lowly hubby and I walked in with our tattered luggage and asked to book the room? I wonder if they would take us seriously? That would be a fun experiment! Of course, one would likely have to get by the guards to even get into the lobby! Another case of terribly misplaced priorities in our country.

That is too funny! Yes, we would drive up in my 1989 Mazda hatchback! I'm sure they might raise their eyebrows, but would take your credit card first. Come to think of it...I've never had a credit card with that much money to spend on it!

I saw that. Can you imagine? How many houses could Habitat for Humanity build for a years worth of resort guests? I think it is ridiculous to spend money like that, even if you have it to spend. So many lives could be changed for the better with that much money invested in shelter and food and medicine for those who have nothing.

You think like I do. I just couldn't spend the night paying that kind of money for a room knowing that so many people were in need out there. I'd rather use the money to help some of them.

Isn't it a small world!! I stayed there last night and what a night I had. I stayed in the jacuzzi for 6 hours to get my money's worth, but alas when it came to a heated night in the revolving bed, my partner thought I looked like a dried prune and turned over and went to sleep!!!

Heck, I don't think they'd let me even stand across the street from the place! That's a lot of money! But just imagine being able to enjoy it for just one night....heavenly! LOL

One night in that hotel suite is about half of what I paid for my townhouse. You can bet that I will never be staying in that room for even one night, unless I met someone rich that paid for me or unless I won the lottery. I bet it is a beautiful room and that jacuzzi has to be awesome. The Jacuzzi costs more than 7 or 8 townhouses in my neighborhood combined.

Not that unusual to pay a days wages for a hotel room. If you make 5 million a year then you would be paying what the rest of us pay based on a percentage of our incomes. Still though, even if I made 5 million a year I don't think that I would need that much space and secondly that I would need a $700,000 Jacuzzi in my room.

They might let a myLotter into this place as hired help to clean it up. As to being given the night gratis as a high roller, I read about just the guy who probably qualifies. Some years ago an Australian billionarie who had 7 heart attacks already and did not expect to live another 6 months was dropping over $1,000,000 per day while in Vegas. Certainly, they'd let him stay there! After all, he had enough money to lose at that rate for almost a year.

Really? I can't believe it! I am shocked that how this people are willing to spend away $40,000 in just one night when there are people from other parts of the world in hunger. Hopefully this people will realize how lucky they are and donate to some people who as not as lucky as they are. Amazing news you got in here. Thank you for the information.

ummmmmmmm no thanks. No room is worth that much to me. I'd rather find a dark corner somewhere to sleep than fork over that much money for one nite.

If I had that kind of money to throw around, I would give it to a worthy charity. I'm sure the room is nice, but I think I'd be just as happy sleeping out somewhere under the stars for free.

I think my whole town combined wouldn't be allowed in that place! LOL!!! I can definatly think of much better things to do with $40K/night than spend it on a hotel room. Maybe I'd just bring Vegas to me for that kind of money. Thanks for sharing this story.
