Procedure  | |  As many of my circle of friends on mylot know, I write a devotion, that I post on mylot.
I also e-mail that to about 75 people that have asked to be on the list. The e-mail includes a prayer list..specific needs that people need prayer for. Such as family deaths, illnesses, cancer treatments etc.
Today someone added the daughter of their friend who is going to have a gamma knife radiation procedure done in August.
Anyone know someone who's been through this? I've done a bit of research, because I'd never heard of it before, and it's a very delicate surgery done to remove meningioma's and tumors on the brain.
Just curious if anyone knew of a success story.

Holly's procedure is for an AVM that she suffered way back in November. She's had several other procedures to get her ready for this one. | |

She's had several embolizations done, and is now ready for this gamma knife. She is doing so much better than when she first started having the seizures from the AVM. | |

| | | 4. suscan (1670) | 3 years ago |  i do know someone that had this done. She was in her early thirties at the time. She has done very well. She had it done in Pittsburgh. It is a very delicate surgery but it has saved many lives and given better quality of life. I will keep her in my prayers.
