My only Wish

Do you watch the "WISH KO Lang" or My Only Wish show of GMA?To all those who dont know or to those who dont watch, the show is about the wishes of our less fortunate people who are suffering from ilnesses, those who have disabilities and many other touching stories. People send the wishes of the people they know needs help, some send in letters for their family members, for their friends. It is shown every saturday. I watch the show every saturday and i cant help but cry, they have such touching stories and I fell happy for them for their wishes to be granted, its like a miracle. You them cry and I cant help but cry also, I am glad that there are shows that extend to the poor and be able to help them to earn and help them start a new beginning and ahope ofr the future.

If a show can do this then why cannot a city take up a program like this for its peoples. So many people are in every city and county that could use a hand up. I wonder how these folks are picked and how more people could get the opportunity to have their lives improved. I know of a handful in the town where I live now. Thanks for sharing this and allowing us to comment since this could be a beginning of such as I have suggested. I can hope for it.

They have Extreme Home Makeover here on Sunday nights and I watch that. I haven't heard of the ones you mention but they may not come on here except via satelite and I don't have satelite or cable. Unfortunately, I have found that all of these shows focus around only families and not single people who need help. I would like to see someone do something for those who are single and need a break because I know from experience that it is very difficult in this day and time to earn a living and pay for everything on one salary. I know of several people who've been evicted because they couldn't get any sort of assistance because they are single and don't have children. Being single without children does not make a person less deserving or valuable as a person and I find it cruel to exclude them from getting their wishes.
