Yes. Here in the US, men are treated better, paid better, and basically dominate our society.

Do you mean there are things that men are to do and women have things that they only can do?Well yes and no.Here in the States , women can do anything they want to do and so can men.But young women don't get drafted into the arm forces like young men. And it is still assumed that mothers are better parents.

In the United States it still exists but it is not as prevalent as it is in other countries. We have made great strides in overcoming this here, but unfortunately it still exists in many different forms.

Hey. In what way, we have a woman president presiding over our country... I think years ago woman wouldve been more disadvantaged like everywhere else, other countries and so on... But today, in NZ, woman are treated with the equal rights as men... How it should be...

hi there! ;0 i live in the philippines and it is still evident in our country that there is still gender bias. i mean, even though our president is a woman, almost all of the cabinet members are still male. and job-wise, the males are still receiving more money than women. sad fact. :(

In the countryside of China, there is still gender bias. Because farmers want to have boys to pass on the family surname from generation to generation. In the city it is the same to some families, but not to all. Many people want to give birth to baby boys. Right now the rate between men and women is getting a bigger gap. I am afraid that there will not be enough women for men to get married to.

I think gender bias exists everywhere. My country of residence is Canada, but I'm in the States right now. Sadly down here in the USA there is not only some gender bias, as there is everywhere, but also racial problems in some areas. I just don't see what it's all about. We're all HUMAN, afterall.
