I didn't tell my sister about Moochie's dirty little secret

Today, my sister took her cat, Moochie, home with her, and I was glad. Moochie didn't want to use the litterbox and frequently peed and pooed on my bedroom rug. In fact, Moochie left a parting present for me --- four fat cat turds, which I cleaned up immediately. I never bothered to tell my sister about this. It's not that I didn't try to get Moochie to use the litterbox. In fact, I carried the cat to one of the litterboxes and placed her in it. She growled at me and promptly jumped out. What can I say? Anyhow, I hope that Moochie uses the litterbox, now that she's back home. I hope, I hope.....

Wow, sorry you got those presents!!Moochie was probably just acting out for having been left somewhere by your sister, and will probably start using the box right away, once at home again.

Hopefully, Moochie will start using the box right away...but wouldn't it be funny if she didn't? That would drive my sister, a neat freak, crazy. Hehehehe. Seriously, my sister's other option would have been to pay a kennel 17 dollars a day for boarding her cat. And trust me, that cat would have been even more unhappy. Bad enough that my sister already paid the kennel 22 dollars a day for each of her two dogs.

Why didn't you tell your sister? I am sure Moochie will use the box now that she is back in her rightful place. I am sure Moochie was mad about her relocation. Even so, if either of my cats would have done that, I would still want to know.

I don't know. Maybe I saw what a stressful day she was going to have. After taking Moochie home, she had to go to the kennel to pick up her two large dogs and bring them home. Then she had to go back to work in the afternoon. Probably the last thing she needed to hear was that Moochie forgot her potty training. Anyway, I agree with you about Moochie using the box, now that she is home and back in familiar surroundings.
