It seems like a natural thing for young kids to see. I am curious to know how people feel about this. If you have given birth did you let your family and young ones witness it? What was the response of your young ones that witness the child birth?

I am older...a grandmother and from what I experienced from giving birth I wouldn't have wanted a child to see. I think it would almost be tramatic! Seeing your mother in pain and blood etc all over? It wouldn't have been a option for me.

It's as I expected. Certainly there is a way to let a younger children experience the birth of a sibling without the need to actually witness the birth itself. Maybe by letting them be a part of the childbirth just by letting them see their new brother or sister after delivery.
