I beat my allergic rhinitis! and thanks to my doctor..=)  | |  Hi! I have a strong family history of allergic rhinitis. Almost everyone of my family have it.. I've been a little bit worried about it since last year because a little change in weather makes me sick and the worst thing is if I've been exposed to the air coming from the electric fan while sleeping for sure the next day I have an allergy already. Then I went to my doctor and I had a long time treatment which really cost me a lot. Then my doctor gave me a flu vaccine which will make my immune system better and a maintenance to drink each time i feel like having an allergy. And guess what? I'm so happy to say that I never experience allergic rhinitis since then. The meds my doctor gave me is very good. It's too small that you can't imagine how effective it is. I can share to you some tips on how to deal with your allergy. Hey, it helped me a lot why not share it to others?...=)

I've had many medications too given to me by my doctor. But then I read something like Allergic Rhinitis is caused by poor immune system that the body becomes too sensitive to anything they encounter in the environment. So the key there is to boost your immune system to the best of your ability and try to maintain when you have it.

One way to boost your immune system is through the flu vaccine. We should be vaccinated once a year. Well yes its true flu vaccine is one way to boost your immune system because it is the flu virus that is directly injected to your system although that virus is not able to replicate itself and your antibody is alerted immediately as it is introduced in your body. Unfortunately that vaccine is quite expensive in our place and I cannot afford to buy one. So I do rely on my natural immune system to develop its own immunity to the disease. Hopefully as I grow older and my immune system too grows older it could cope with developing new immunities from new diseases that sprout everyday. | |

I have a friend who happens to be a doctor and she's giving a discount to flu vaccine. Her price is very cheap compared to my doctor's fee. When she told me about this I already have the vaccine.
