How many locks do you have on your front door?  

We have three locks as well, but we put them on there. Last summer there was 2 break ins on my block. So we have a lock on the knob, a dead bolt as well as a kick lock at the bottom of the doors. We lock them ever night and sometimes I do it during the day when I am home alone.

Well its pretty safe where we live so we put only 1 lock. But when we have to go on holidays then we put 2 as a measure of precaution.

we have one lock but we don't use it if the weather is nice the doors stay open day and night when i go out the doors and windows are left open, we have a dog a big german shephard named brennan, trust me know one in there right mind would come near the house, i would hate to live life in fear and having windows and doors locked

I live in an apartment complex and I have a dead bolt and a bottom lock through the door knob. And that is what I've had all my life. I spent most of my early life in a crime ridden neighborhood (my dad was a pastor there) and we had a dead bolt and door lock on front and back doors. Then we moved and we lived in a really nice area (once again, my dad was/is a pastor there) and the back door was a dead bolt, chain lock, and door knob lock. The chain lock never worked though, it was missing the chain, LOL. Recently, my parents changed the lock on their front door. You can still use a key to get in the bottom, but their dead bolt is controlled by a code. You have to have the code to unlock the dead bolt.

We have the lock on the doorknob, and a deadbolt on each of our doors to the outside. But we don't use the deadbolt on the door that my husband uses when he comes home in the mornings. We don't have a key to it, and my husband hasn't had time to change it yet. He works nights, and I hate not having the deadbolt done on that lock, but otherwise he would have to wake everyone up by calling or ringing the bell, and I don't want that, so we just don't use the deadbolt.

We do live in a small town with virually no crime, though, so that makes me feel much better.

I have two locks on my door. One in the handle and a deadbolt. But even if someone broke in, I have five dogs that would be waiting to greet them and it might not be a happy meeting.lol

I have two on each, and they are always locked with the alarm on. My home was burglarized recently and I cannot make it easier for the criminals to get into my home. I am planning to upgrade my locks later on.

we live in a low crime area, but I still have 3 locks on my front and back door. Never be too careful.

I have a couple locks on my front door and they are rock solid and pick proof and everything. Of course I could sick my roommate on someone if they tried to break in. LOL It is always good to have at least two locks on the front door. Having an alarm system is better if you can afford more monthly rates. I use all my locks, even on the sliding glass door.
