Newcastle United's first match of the season 3-1!!

How do you rate Big Sam's boys performance at Sam's old club Bolton? A 3-1 victory would have delighted all the Geordie hearts. Martins was brilliant and it looks like Owen would have to fight hard to regain his position. Bolton looked to be missing Sam already!! Is it signs of big things to come for Newcastle? Cheers! Ram

Big Sam seems to have found the best in the players. At last we seem to have a strong manager. For the first time in a long time I am pleased to have a season ticket. The lads looked top class against Bolton. I think we will make Europe this year.

I think the best step so far from him is the sacking of the leaky back line of Newcastle. The results are already showing up!! I just hope we can also see Owen getting back in action soon!! Cheers! Ram
