If you're away from Mylot for some time, do you mind getting PM...

...inquiring about you? Getting a PM may not work because if I'm not mistaken you're not notified if you've received on. But if one(some) of your Mylot notices your absence, how do you feel about them contacting you to see if you are well? I've noticed that several folks on my friends list have bee MIA for some time, yet I hesitate in trying to contact them for fear being accused of spamming them. So folks tell me, do you want us(your Mylot buddies) to show you you're missed?

Personally, I don't mind getting PMs at all. When I have made friends on myLot then I am giving my permission for them to PM me by having them as friends. It is a social site for people to discuss things, whether on public discussions or PMs. :-)

That is true...you do state that in not so many words by accepting other members as "friends" on a public venue such as this one.

I've made this kind of suggestion on responding to one discussion which I've forgotten that it is better to myLot to provide one more facilities just like yahoo on its mail option where we can make our absent(out station) notice to members of for incoming email.

That's a great idea. I hope that they will consider it seriously.
