I think I was probably about maybe 10 when i first started writing in a diary. I had one with the lock and key. I really didn't have much to write in it, stuff about what happened at school or what boys in my class i thought was cute. I kept up with a diary a lot and still have the ones from when i was age 14-18. I haven't read them in years. Do you still have your old diaries, if not what did you do with them? Did anyone ever find it and read through it? I remember my brother found my first diary which like i said didn't really have anything in it. As i got older i got wiser about keeping it in a safe place.

I started write my diary ,when I was 10 years old and I am still writing one.It 's really nice, if u can read it over and over. Also i don't remeber everything from my pass, so I can just look to my diary and live it again.

I love to do that too. I wrote in it mainly everyday during my teenage years and it is always fun to read how I used to think and about the beginnings of relationships with boys. I sort've slacked off slowly during my college years and now I guess I don't really find the time to do it now, but I would like to start back because it is a great stress reliever.

i started to have a diary at age 12 then through the years i would write down things on a calender then eventually a big journal each year i put down what happened during the day and night if i have something to keep i write it in the back of the journal for reference i keep this part only after i throw out the journals-- i keep medical history of me and my mom, special events, phone numbers that i will need or special things i need to keep and look at for future use i love to write so a journal is natural for me i love to write poems too

I like to write poems and things as well too. I think a journal just lets you express your emotions freely without worrying what anyone has to say or feel about your thoughts.

I was 6 as I remember. I was on school and it's common for us little girls to have diaries at that time. I put in them all my crushes and my feelings. It's where I let out my anger to all my teachers and when there's a bad thing that a friend did to me, it's where I let out my hate.

I don't really remember exactly what age I was, but I know I was in elementary school. I was probably in 4th or 5th grade. I don't have any of my old diaries anymore. I don't even know what happened. I still keep a journal, but I hardly ever remember to write in it anymore. I have a LiveJournal account but I never update that either. Slacker.:P

I don't write in my journal anymore either, it just doesn't seem like I have the time. One day I will sit down and catch up. thanks for your response.

I was 9 or 10 and my parents read it and got mad about what I wrote, so after that I wrote in a coded language that I made up. I had never heard of Leondardo da Vinci's method of writing a mirror image. That would have been easier. Off and on, I still keep a diary and I still put the sensitive stuff in code, lol, because you never know who might be snooping.
