The following are the few of the strangest collective nouns I know plague of locusts stud of mares movement of moles parliament of owls mischief of rats plump of wildfowl zeal of zebras parcel of hogs glint of goldfish corps of giraffes mob of emus destruction of cats(wild cats)

I've heard murder of crows, murder of ravens and even a murder of scarecrows, love the bloat of hippos. Some more of my favourites; up to you to decide which ones I made up.
