| | I prefer handbags, but I carry them on my shoulder. Lol. I don't know but lately I've been into REALLY huge bags, I can't get enough! I just love the feeling of dumping all my stuff in there and knowing that every single thing I need is in my bag with me. Haha! | | | | | | |

| | I carry a large shoulder bag that fits over me so my hands are free. The only time I carry a smaller bag is when I am wearing a formal dress. | | | | | | |

| | Hi there. I like using my black leather shoulder bag, I can easily have it crossed over and handy to reach in and out of, also it does leave my hands free to do properly look at things... | | | | | | |

| | I think I prefer a hand bag. I hardly ever use a clutch. I know that wearing a purse on your shoulder is bad for our backs and necks, but sometimes it just can't be helped. But overall, I think a hand bag. | | | | | | |

| | Only when I get really dressed up. Otherwise it's a shoulder bag and I can tell with I get too much change in it as you are right that it hurts the shoulder. | | | |

| | Yeah, it can cause long term pain, but you know what they say, if you'rE comfortable, you're not fashionable. LOL | | | |

| | I prefer a shoulder bag...then I can carry everything that I or anyone that I am near would possibly need. Also I can carry my complete manicure kit, a scissors to cut up my hefty folder full of coupons, my makeup in case I get caught in the rain, combs for my hair, kleenex just in case I get a cold, all of my checkbooks, a tupperware container for my flavored coffeemate, credit cards and identification that I would need to go overseas or out of the country...just in case I go someday...lots of sales slips, my hand wipes in case I get dirt on my hands, mosquito lotion in case of bugs, a map just in case I get lost and a magnifying glass in case I want to look at something small...and anything that I can think of that I absolutely need to go anywhere. I am kidding but it seems as though I take along way too much stuff...so a clutch purse wouldn't hold enough stuff. I make sure that I change my purse from one shoulder to the other so I don't get lopsided. Haha. | | | | | | |

| | Many times I also have to carry another bag with essentials in it. So a shoulder bag is necessary. Sometimes I have one on each shoulder! Men have it so easy don't they? | | | |

| | Yes, a shoulder bag is the best option for a lady. I also prefer a lady with a shoulder bag, it just looks nice. There is freedom with your hands, like you said. One can put a lot more items in a shoulder bag, something you can't do with a clutch bag. | | | | | | |
