I have been thinking about which new fall show I am looking forward to the most. I know that we will be happy to see the return of our old favorites, but the fall lineup really looks promising. I would place New Amsterdam right at the top of my list. I think the series, Cane also looks good. I am a fan of Jimmy Smits from way back. What are the new shows you are most eagerly awaiting?

I am also a big Jimmy Smits fan...so looking forward to Cane...I haven't really had time to check out the other new shows...I am a silly Survivor fan...so will watch that while I pound out the miles on my treadmill!!! My usuals include ER & Grey's Anatomy...It is always interesting to see the new shows and what they bring...

Well, rx, it seems certain that Jimmy Smits' new show will be a success. I think everyone likes him. I crossed Grey's off my list so I will probably go back to CSI.

Yeah Cane looks real good, but I am looking for to the one called Hot Shots, Dirty Sexy Money and Caveman to see how they go for the next season. I have not heard of New Amsterdam, what is that about?

I think that Hot Shots, Dirty Sexy Money, is really going to heat up the screen, texas. I can't wait. I just hope that not all of the new shows will conflict with my old standbys. New Amsterdam is about a vampire who is young, but very old. I love vampire stories. It will be on FOX.

I am not sure that there are many if any that I will actively watch this fall. Chuck looks like it could be funny. That is about the only one that sticks out in my mind.

I don't think I've heard of that one, Elusive. It sounds as though it might be a comedy. I like some comedys, but in moderation.

Since you are interested in New Amsterdam, are you going to watch Moonlight on CBS? It's about a vampire who is a private investigator.
I want to check out Chuck, on NBC. It's the only comedy preview I've seen that looks really funny. Also, I'd like to see Kid Nation. I know I'll be watching that at least once. Sure there is controversy, but I think this could also be beneficial to kids, who are actually watching kids their age, do something they never thought possible.
I'll also probably tune in to the Reaper on the CW. It looks like a dramedy. A guy turns 18 and finds out his parents sold his soul to the devil. It sounds morbid, but from the previews it will be along the lines of Buffy or Supernatural in humor.

I like Jimmy Smits too so I'll definitely watch his show. I'm not too familiar with many of the new ones coming on, but I'm looking forward to the season premieres of Brothers and Sisters, CSI Miami, ER, and Desperate Housewives. I'm sure I'm forgetting something since it seems like they've been over forever. I like how the cable networks have their "new season" during the summer so we're no doomed to ALL reruns.

They sure don't give a new show long enough to build an audience. I remember some shows from years ago that didn't do well at all in the beginning but the networks gave it some time. Seinfeld didn't do well at all in the ratings its first season; just think, today it wouldn't have gotten a second year. Our language would sure be different!

They have a nice fall lineup on most network tv channels, annie, but the problem is-will they last? They don't give them much of a chance any more.
