1. ssh123 (18249) | 3 years ago | There is some cake avialable which can be used. But it is violent method. the mice eat that stuff and dies instantly. There should not be availability of any water nearby.

kneeshka123 (189) | 3 years ago | For some reason the mouse I had died underneath my computer and not being able to seee very well I went to pick some bits up that had dropped on the floor and that was when I saw it . I let a very loud scream out. I felt ill

ssh123 (18249) | 3 years ago | In market, there is a special gum pads are available, and normally these mice run on wall side and if it is placed there, the moment it runs on the pad, it stays there like a statue.
Another interesting point, in some part of India, people have a temple exclusively for mice and mice are friendly with people. No one kills them.

kneeshka123 (189) | 3 years ago | I boiuhgt those pads and I could not believe it when the next day I could see that the mouse had got stuck but somehow had got away. I had trouble getting one off from the bottom of my slipper so who knows how the poor little thing escaped. Denise

ssh123 (18249) | 3 years ago | You have to place in the corners of the pad, some heavy stuff like stone piece or iron material to ensure that pad does not move. That must be a bigger bandicoot which moves the pad and gets away.

2. theVacuous1 (215) | 3 years ago | I heard a good way is to take some mixed nuts you may have or pieces od sweet fruit and trail it up a little ramp you make which leads to a steep bowl. The theory is the mice will follow the trail of goodies into the bowl where there is more goodies and get stuck since they can't get out.
Then you can do with them as you please.

4. irishmist (2399) | 3 years ago | We have used Decon to get rid of mice. Or you could get the snapping wooden traps. Our landlord sent us an exterminator, and he brought us sticky traps, and they did not work very well.

kneeshka123 (189) | 3 years ago | Yes I tried the sticky traps but the mouse managed to unstick itself

6. 25th_Stargazer (746) | 3 years ago | For the big ones, I buy a pack of Racumin powder and pour it over bread, cooked rice or any tempting left over food. I use the sticky Baygon flypaper for small ones. I find them very effective especially the flypaper that never fails to catch those mice passing under my computer table!

7. Malyck (1687) | 3 years ago | I have to say, I can't bring myself to use inhumane methods of ridding my life/house of mice, having had a pet mouse as a companion for 4 years in my early teens.
Since then, I have bought myself a number of 'humane traps' - a cage of sorts that they can enter but not escape from because of the size of the entrance. I normally put some food (chocolate works a treat) inside.

|
kneeshka123 (189) | 3 years ago | Rather you than me Malyck. I must admit I don't like to kill anything living but there are so many mice and rats in this world that it would be inappropriatre to let all of them live surely?

markmiyashiro (183) | 3 years ago | At the feed store or hardware store they sell these traps that work on 2 AA battery, it zaps them, the can get really big, but this traps work really good.

8. bluewaves (2169) | 3 years ago | well i really don't know how to get rid of them. i have the same problem. we have lots of mice and some rats. they are really big trouble. well i think we just keep our place clean so that they will not like to come to our places and look for other place to stay. i think they like to steal food from our garbages. well what i do i keep my trash in a secure container so that they can't open it at night.

9. kalyani2007 (2415) | 3 years ago | Hi kneeshka, thanks for sharing . I have some mouse in my home, others are regular visitors. They cut my sarees and shirts of my husband. Some are large as a cat.One is so naughty, it can open lid from tin cans with its sharp teeth. To get rid from them, I had applied many techniques but giving a bet containing zinc phosphide is the best. You will find them dead the next morning. ks.
