| How many times you join a marathone?  | | | |  I join marathone when i was a kid. My first run was 3K 0r 3 kilometer,next 5K, until 10K is my too far run that i join marathone. How many kilometer or miles you run a marathone. Do you join marathone in your country or in the other country?

| |  A marathon is 26.2 miles. I'm training for my first 10K right now which is 6.2 miles. So in metric a marathon is about 42K.
I have not run a full marathon yet. I'm hoping to do a half in the spring time then I will decide if I want to continue to train for a full. I'm not real experienced with running so not really sure what direction I'm going with it yet.
The most I've run sofar was 5.6 miles at one time. I'll be doing that again tomorrow and then the following week I'll be going up to 6 miles. I'm hoping to reach 10 miles by the end of September.
