Do You Get Promotional Calls from Your Favourite Stores?

*laughs* Just wondering how everywhere else works! I got a call from my favourite store (L'Erbolario, an Italian brand selling natural bath and body stuff, some face stuff too) and the sales lady was telling me about the recent promotions they have. I am tempted to go and check out. What about you? Do you get calls from your favourite stores? Would you be tempted to check out the promotions? Would you buy more during the promotions?

That can be counted with one hand *laughs* I seldom get a call from my favorite store. But I do receive flyers or promotional cards from my favorite 'stores' ( mind you..I have many favorite stores just can't figure out which is the most favorite one ... ) I am also the member of every big shopping mall here and so my home always full of unnecessary stuffs *laughs*

Right! I used to be a VIP at every beauty counter (imagine how much money I "donate" to the beauty industry *laughs*). Anyway, I don't have the privilege this year because I decide to live frugal but I am sure I will be the VIP again *smiles*.
I agree that being a member somewhere usually we would end up buying something not needed!

That's great. At least I know someone who is as crazy as me *laughs* Telling you honestly, I some kind of losing my mood to do all these after my husband went back. I seldom buy things for myself these few months. Oh, yes! That's a great news as I can save up more money for future use. But..hmmm...uhmmm... feel funny some how!

Yeah, I've got calls from my favorite stores too. In fact recently they have come to my home and made a survey about how the way we spend on their store. Lol. I didn't mind giving them information, because after that I was given a free gift. I got a hand massager which uses a battery to operate, which I think is cool. They only ask me about simple questions like, how often I shop there and what are the usual items I buy. Yeah, I would definitely buy during promotions, but I think I will only buy what is needed.

Oh I wonder why they don't do the survey here! I want the free gift *laughs*! The sales lady was so nice to tell me that she has reserved some samples for me (samples are given out really straight around here!). I think I will pay the store a visit and see how their fabulous promotions are, even though I am quite broke!

No, I seldom will get promotional calls from my favorite stores. I think they haven't realized how important this service is. Sometimes I will get this kind of news by SMS or email. It is better that they don't call me, because I will feel annoyed to it. I always dislike picking up the photos from the sales.

Although I do not give any stores my phone number, we do get written notices in the mail of special promotions and yes, sometimes the specials are worth a trip to the store. Also, we are so lucky that just this summer a new store came to our town. It is Body and Bath Works outlet store and sells the same items as the regular store for up to 75% off. I came out with a huge bag of goodies yesterday! I got coconut vanilla flavored Ile de Tahiti body lotion with Tamanu nut oil and Monoi oil in a beautiful bottle. Wahooo!

Oh my god! Bath and Body Works outlet store? It must be fun to go there! I love their varieties and if there is an outlet store, that means it's quite cheap. 75% off the regular price is surely good deal! *laughs* If I go there, I would surely come out with the whole store! I am a fans of coconut too! I love the yummy scent! Lucky you!

I'm so glad that I don't get any calls from any stores because I would be out the door and in the store before I'd even had the chance to hang up the phone.
