Do you like to use liquid or powder laundry detergent?

I use both so it's 50-50

We use liquid at our house. I can get 2 big gallon bottles for the price of one at Ingles of a certain brand. I think it is called Sun or something like that. Anyway it does the job for us. 2 Gallons lasts us just for a month, so I guess it does kind of go fast. I use cold water to wash with, so the liquid works better for me.

i havent tried using liquid detergent. i often use powder and then liquid fabric softener.^__^

I love to use both when I have to hand wash.

I have been using Surf Excel matic powder and the result is simply excellent and I have never tried the liquid stuff so far. May be in couple of days, when I visit super bazar let me try the liquid detergent.

I prefer to use powder and yes your right liquids go faster. Its much easy to use powder for me.

I've used both before, but it does seem like the powder lasts longer for some reason. I guess I'd probably prefer to use the powder too since it doesn't seem to get used up as quickly, and it also isn't as messy. Whenever I use the liquid, it usually ends up dripping and getting really sticky.

i use powder detergent. havent really tried using a liquid detergent. might try to one of these days.

I have used liquid only for years. Thats because sometimes the powder doesn't all dissolve and you end up with residue on your clothes after they are washed. I hate that so I use liquid to avoid the problem. I have used both ALL and Cheer. My husband prefers me to use Cheer because it has enzymes in it that are supposed to help with stains.

I prefer to use detergent in a powder form,because I have seen my mother and everyone else using it when I was a kid. But later I switched to liquid detergent for some time,since I was told that it contains less chemicals and is more gentle on clothes.But as you said it does not last long and I have switched back to powder form again and am satisfied.
